Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners closes USD 3 billion Growth Markets Fund

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) has completed fundraising for its second-generation Growth Markets Fund (GMF II), securing approximately USD 3 billion in commitments. This amount is nearly three times the size of its predecessor fund.

A flagship investment for this fund is the Peștera II wind project in Romania, valued at EUR 510 million. Legal advisors for the investor on the Romanian project included Filip & Company and Clifford Chance, while Bondoc & Asociații and White & Case represented the banks.
