Denmark: Police investigation, resident evictions, and traffic accidents
Several incidents and warnings have been reported in Denmark. In Copenhagen, police concluded an investigation into the death of a 52-year-old man found near Christiania, stating there were no immediate signs of criminal activity.
In Ishøj, residents of Ishøj Havn have been given notice to vacate by the harbor board by December 31, 2026. This decision follows a long-standing dispute with the municipality regarding residency requirements for houseboats.
In East Jutland, emergency services, including a medical helicopter, responded to a single-car accident on Lundhoffvej near Odder. A vehicle struck a tree and ended up on its roof; two individuals were taken to the hospital, one with non-life-threatening head injuries.
Additionally, the Danish Road Directorate issued a warning regarding strong winds on the Sallingsund Bridge, effective until Saturday evening. Meanwhile, the Environmental Protection Agency stated that popular ‘squishy dumpling’ toys do not pose a health risk despite reports of chemical odors.
