Copinha F groups announced for women's U-20 tournament

The Federação Paulista de Futebol (FPF) has finalized the groups for the fourth edition of the Copinha F, Brazil’s premier women’s under-20 football tournament. The competition is scheduled to run from November 24 to December 12.

Twenty clubs from across Brazil will participate, divided into five groups of four. The groups are named after iconic São Paulo landmarks: Masp, Copan, Ibirapuera, Mercadão, and Cantareira. Notable matchups include Group A, featuring Palmeiras, Flamengo, Vasco, and Tarumã, and Group B, which includes Corinthians, Red Bull Bragantino, Atlético-MG, and Ação.

Matches will be hosted at various stadiums in São Paulo, including the Canindé stadium, which will also host the final. The tournament will be broadcast live on TV Brasil. The competition format allows group winners and the three best runners-up to advance to the quarter-finals. This edition also introduces three debutants: Vasco, Tarumã-AM, and Ação-MT.
