Coppa Agostoni cycling race set for October 4 in Lissone

The 79th edition of the Coppa Agostoni, also known as the Giro delle Brianze, is scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 4, in Lissone, Italy. The event serves as the opening race of the Trittico della Regione Lombardia.

This year marks a significant milestone for the organizing club, SC Mobili Lissone, which is celebrating 80 years of activity since its founding in 1946. The club was recently awarded the ‘Stella d’argento’ by CONI for its sporting merits.

The race course will feature a slightly shorter route designed to increase unpredictability. It includes the Lissolo circuit, which riders will traverse four times, encompassing twelve climbs including the Sirtori, Colle Brianza, and Lissolo ascents. Following the circuit, the race will conclude with 35 kilometers of flat terrain leading to the finish in via Matteotti. The 2025 edition was won by British cyclist Adam Yates.
