Copparo launches “Zaino sospeso” school supply drive

The “Zaino sospeso” (Suspended Backpack) initiative is returning to Copparo to support families in financial difficulty. Organized by the Lions Club Copparo with the patronage of the Municipality and promoted by the Multidistretto Lions 108 Italy, the project aims to provide children and teenagers with the necessary school supplies for the upcoming academic year.

The collection period runs from August 24 to September 5 at two local stationery stores: Cartolibreria Fiore and Buffetti. Donors can contribute items such as drawing pads, pens, pencils, notebooks, erasers, backpacks, diaries, and books. Once the collection concludes, the Lions Club Copparo and local partners will distribute the materials to families in need to ensure all students can start the school year on equal footing.
