Copper One Resources funds Nevada copper project; World Copper shares settle debt

Copper One Resources (CSE:CEXY) announced a non‑brokered private placement of up to 19.5 million special warrants at C$0.50 each, aiming to raise up to C$9.75 million. The proceeds will accelerate exploration and development at the Majuba Hill copper‑silver‑gold project in Nevada and provide additional working capital. Each warrant converts into one unit consisting of one common share and half of a share‑purchase warrant exercisable at C$0.62 for two years. CEO David Greenway said expanded drilling is extending the mineralised footprint and positions the project to help meet U.S. copper demand.

World Copper Ltd. entered into a shares‑for‑debt agreement with two directors and a service provider to settle $209,000 of debt by issuing 20.9 million common shares at a deemed price of $0.01 per share, subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval. The transaction, structured as a related‑party deal under MI 61‑101, includes a four‑month‑one‑day hold period and is intended to preserve cash for working capital.

Both moves illustrate how junior mining firms are seeking capital to advance copper projects that could support North American critical‑metal supply chains.
