Cops for Kids cycling team to arrive in Castlegar on Sept. 13

The Cops for Kids Ride team is scheduled to arrive at the Castlegar RCMP Detachment on Sunday, Sept. 13, at 3:30 p.m. Presented by the Thomas Alan Budd Foundation, the annual event involves law enforcement and civilian riders participating in a 10-day cycling journey across Southeastern British Columbia.

The ride aims to raise funds to support children and families facing serious medical, physical, or traumatic challenges. The team will arrive in Castlegar after cycling from Grand Forks, navigating difficult roads and climbs throughout the Kootenays and Interior regions. Funds raised provide direct financial assistance to help ease the pressure on families facing unexpected and overwhelming circumstances.
