CORAAPPLATA addressed 368 service incidents in August

The Puerto Plata Aqueducts and Sewerage Corporation (CORAAPPLATA) reported that its brigades addressed 368 incidents throughout the month of August. These operations were conducted across various municipalities and communities within the province to strengthen potable water and sanitation services.

In terms of potable water, the Operations and Maintenance Department carried out 212 interventions. The highest number of these occurred in Puerto Plata (88) and Luperón (44), followed by Sosúa (23), Imbert (13), Los Hidalgos (10), El Cupey (9), Villa Isabela (6), Cabarete (5), Sabaneta de Yásica (4), Altamira (4), and Villa Montellano (3).

The Sanitation and Wastewater Treatment Department handled 76 requests, primarily in Puerto Plata (54), Sosúa (17), and Luperón (5). Additionally, the Electromechanical Division corrected 35 faults, the Welding Department performed 24 interventions, and the Masonry area completed 21 support tasks for operational activities.
