Corato, Ruvo di Puglia, and Terlizzi launch new social welfare planning

The Social Territorial Area of Corato, Ruvo di Puglia, and Terlizzi has launched a participatory co-programming process to define the new Social Zone Plan for 2026–2028. This strategic tool aims to plan social policies and personal services in response to the Puglia Region's approval of the VI Regional Social Policy Plan.

The consultation process involves various stakeholders, including citizens, third-sector entities, social cooperatives, volunteer organizations, schools, healthcare providers (Asl), and trade unions. The initiative is organized into three thematic tables: family policies and child protection; disability, self-sufficiency, and active aging; and policies for vulnerable adults.

The official proceedings begin on October 1, 2026, with a public plenary session in Ruvo di Puglia at the former Dominican Convent. Puglia Region's Welfare Councilor, Cristian Casili, is expected to participate in the opening meeting.
