Corazon Mining appoints Rob Curtis as non-executive chairman

Corazon Mining has appointed Rob Curtis as non-executive chairman to assist the company in its transition from an explorer to a developer. Curtis brings over 30 years of experience in exploration, business development, and resources investment, including a significant role in the growth of Oxiana into OZ Minerals.

The appointment follows Corazon’s acquisition of the Chalice Gold Project in Western Australia’s Higginsville district from Westgold Resources. Managing Director Simon Coyle stated that Curtis’s experience in scaling resources businesses is highly relevant as the company executes its gold strategy and progresses the Chalice Project toward development.
