Corbin Carroll undergoes elbow surgery amid Silver Slugger honors
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll underwent minimally invasive surgery on his left elbow to remove loose bodies. Carroll reported experiencing discomfort during the 2026 regular season, noting that symptoms became significant enough to warrant medical attention last week.
The procedure is expected to allow for a quick recovery, with Carroll expressing hope to begin batting activities as early as December. This follows previous medical issues, including surgery on a broken hamate bone in his right hand earlier this year.
In addition to the medical update, Carroll has been named a Silver Slugger finalist alongside Diamondbacks catcher Gabriel Moreno. Carroll recorded 22 home runs and an MLB-leading 17 triples this season, while Moreno won the National League batting title with a .311 average.
