Corciano hosts 62nd edition of Agosto Corcianese festival

The 62nd edition of Agosto Corcianese has commenced in Corciano, Italy. The festival opened with a performance by the Corciano Festival Orchestra Lab, conducted by Alessandro Celardi.

The event schedule, running through August 16, includes a variety of music, theater, art, literature, and historical reenactments. Notable upcoming activities include the reopening of the Sant’Agostino church complex following restoration work, a musical performance titled ‘Parlami di me’, and a book presentation by Alessandro Foti regarding the ‘brain drain’ of Italian youth.

Additionally, the festival features theatrical productions, such as ‘Il viaggio di Francesco’, a play based on the life of Saint Francis of Assisi.
