Coreno hosts ‘Bene Comune’ event to showcase civic works

The 12th edition of the ‘Coreno Bene Comune’ event in Valle dei Santi served as a platform for civic dialogue and the presentation of local government achievements. Mayor Simone Costanzo and members of the majority administration outlined completed works, ongoing projects, and future community challenges.

Key infrastructure updates include three projects funded by the Ministry of the Environment totaling approximately 670,000 euros. These improvements focused on the Senior Center, the municipal gym, and the Town Hall, incorporating new windows, heat pumps, and solar power systems to increase environmental sustainability and reduce energy costs. Additionally, a 300,000 euro PNRR fund was used to requalify the former middle school into a center for culture and sport, which included refurbishing the basketball court.
