Coretura selects Alloy Kore for software-defined vehicle platform

Coretura, a joint venture between Daimler Truck and Volvo Group, has selected Alloy Kore as the foundational software layer for its software-defined vehicle (SDV) platform. This selection aims to accelerate the development of next-generation software-defined commercial vehicles.

Alloy Kore serves as a safety-certified software platform foundation within Coretura’s architecture, specifically targeting high-performance compute environments. The move marks the first design win for Alloy Kore, which was developed to address industry challenges such as fragmented development models, integration difficulties, and rising costs associated with complex vehicle code.

Johan Lundén, CEO of Coretura, stated that the company is building a reliable industry foundation to allow customers to focus engineering efforts on high-value applications, ensuring vehicles become smarter and safer through continuous software updates.
