CoreWeave enters India with 240 MW data center plan in Navi Mumbai

US-based AI cloud provider CoreWeave has announced its entry into the Indian market through a collaboration with AdaniConneX. The company plans to deploy 240 megawatts (MW) of data center capacity at the AdaniConneX Taloja campus in Navi Mumbai.

CoreWeave will serve as the sole tenant for three 80-MW buildings, with an option to expand capacity by an additional 240 MW at the same site. The first phase of the project is expected to be operational by mid-2028. The facilities are being designed for high-density AI infrastructure, utilizing Nvidia’s Vera Rubin platform and direct liquid cooling systems for GPU data halls.

This expansion follows CoreWeave’s recent move into Indonesia and aligns with the Indian government’s IndiaAI Mission. The company intends to establish a local office and hire staff within India to support its operations.
