CoreWeave secures third Platinum ClusterMAX rating and launches new encryption service

CoreWeave has achieved the Platinum ClusterMAX rating from SemiAnalysis for the third consecutive evaluation cycle. This benchmark evaluates enterprise GPU cloud services across ten categories, including networking, storage, and security. CoreWeave reported a 96% goodput rating, which measures actual useful data throughput, exceeding the industry average of approximately 90%. While CoreWeave has held the top tier exclusively since the benchmark's launch in March 2025, Nebius has now joined the Platinum tier in the latest cycle.

In a separate security development, CoreWeave launched Remote Key Encryption. This service is designed to address enterprise security concerns by ensuring the company never holds customer encryption keys. The service utilizes client-side encryption within the customer’s own compute boundary, allowing users to use their existing secrets managers or hardware security modules. By holding only ciphertext, CoreWeave aims to streamline the production process for regulated AI workloads, such as model weights and training checkpoints, by integrating with existing customer security infrastructures.
