CoreWeave's Revenue Surges Past Datadog Amid AI Infrastructure Boom

CoreWeave reported a rapid acceleration in revenue, climbing from $395.4 million in Q2 2024 to $2.1 billion in Q1 2026. The growth reflected soaring demand for high‑performance AI compute infrastructure. Despite the sales surge, CoreWeave posted a negative 36 % net‑income margin for the quarter ended March 2026 and carried about $25 billion of debt, with cash reserves just over $2 billion.

Datadog’s revenue grew more modestly, rising from $645.3 million in Q2 2024 to $1.0 billion in Q1 2026. The company recorded a positive 5 % net‑income margin and announced the June 2026 acquisition of Adaptive ML to boost its AI capabilities. Analysts noted that while CoreWeave’s top‑line expansion outpaces Datadog’s, Datadog’s profitability and balance‑sheet position remain stronger.
