Corey Conners and Ben Silverman tie for third at Bermuda Championship

Canadian golfers Corey Conners and Ben Silverman finished tied for third at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship after strong winds forced officials to shorten the PGA Tour event to 54 holes. Both players finished at 14-under-par 199 at the Port Royal Golf Course.

Silverman, from Thornhill, Ontario, matched his best finish of the season, a result that moved him to 117th in the FedEx Cup Fall standings. Conners, from Listowel, Ontario, used the performance to strengthen his position for qualification in upcoming signature events like the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

American Austin Smotherman and Ireland’s Seamus Power entered the final stage tied for the lead at 16-under-par. Following the cancellation of the final round due to unfavorable weather, a playoff was held on Monday. Smotherman secured his second consecutive PGA Tour victory by defeating Power on the third playoff hole.
