Corey Day wins World of Outlaws race at Ventura Raceway

Corey Day secured his second World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series victory of 2026 at Ventura Raceway. Driving for the Jason Meyers Racing No. 14 team, the 20-year-old Clovis, California native broke a streak of second-place finishes in his home state.

After finishing second at both Kings Speedway and Bakersfield Speedway earlier in the week, Day utilized a pivotal restart at the Toyota Racing Battle at the Beach to move from fourth to second. He capitalized on a mistake by leader Steven Snyder Jr. to take the lead and successfully defended his position against late challenges from Bill Balog and Sheldon Haudenschild.

This win marks the fifth of Day’s career and makes him the eighth multi-time winner of the series this season.
