Corferias hosts industrial and geek culture events in Bogotá

Bogotá's Corferias will host two major events in late 2026. The Bogotá International Industrial Fair (FIB) took place from September 28 to October 2, focusing on technological advancements in production processes. The fair featured over 500 exhibitors showcasing solutions in artificial intelligence, robotics, industrial automation, additive manufacturing, and real-time data analysis. The program included more than 40 conferences covering topics such as welding cobots, Industry 4.0 inspection, and energy efficiency.

Following the industrial fair, the Salón del Ocio y la Fantasía (SOFA) will be held from October 8 to 12. This event focuses on geek culture, creative industries, and leisure. The programming includes activities related to video games, anime, comics, cosplay, and music. Highlights include the SOFA Late Night dubbing panel, symphonic concerts dedicated to video game music, and the final gala of the World Cosplay Summit Colombia.
