Orthodox Christian religious ceremonies held across Greece and the US

Various Orthodox Christian religious events and processions have taken place across Greece and the United States.

In Greece, thousands of faithful participated in the return of the sacred icon of Panagia Vulkaniotissa to the Holy Monastery of Vulkanou via a procession through Messene. In Patras, major celebrations marked the 62nd anniversary of the repatriation of the Holy Relics of Saint Andrew, featuring a procession by both land and sea. Other notable events included the 57th anniversary of the consecration of the Church of Saint John the Russian in Evia and the arrival of the icon of Panagia of the Mount of Olives from the Holy Land to Nafplio.

In the United States, Archbishop Elpidophoros of America presided over a Divine Liturgy at St. John the Theologian in Tenafly, New Jersey, delivering a sermon on faith and overcoming doubt based on the biblical account of the miraculous catch of fish.
