Corgi Secures $160M Series B, Valued at $1.3B

Corgi Insurance Inc., an artificial‑intelligence‑native insurer built for startups, announced a $160 million Series B financing that lifts its valuation to $1.3 billion. The round was led by TCV and included investors such as Oliver Jung, Leblon Capital, Kindred Ventures and several others, bringing total capital raised to more than $268 million.

Founded in 2024 and a Y Combinator Summer 2024 graduate, Corgi obtained regulatory approval as a licensed carrier in July 2025. Its AI platform handles underwriting, policy administration and claims in‑house, delivering quotes in under ten minutes and same‑day binding. The company currently offers standard startup coverages—including directors and officers liability, cyber and commercial general liability—as well as a new AI liability product that protects against biased algorithms, synthetic media and autonomous‑system failures.

With the new funding, Corgi plans to expand beyond its initial property‑management niche into verticals such as trucking, payroll and small‑business insurance, broadening its product range and deepening distribution while further investing in its AI systems.
