Corigliano Calabro hosts Clementina Festival 2026 opening

The Clementina Festival 2026 will commence on October 25 in Corigliano Calabro with the “Clementina in Festa” popular celebration. The event is designed by the local administration to promote the region's economy, which centers on the clementine fruit.

Activities include a food area featuring local products in Piazza Guido Compagna and the Fossato del Palazzo Ducale, children's entertainment, and a concert by singer Santino Cardamone. Religious observances will include a mass at the Sanctuary of San Francesco di Paola led by Archbishop Maurizio Aloise, followed by a traditional procession and a blessing of the fields.

The festival also features technical seminars addressing social and economic issues, including discussions on illegal labor (caporalato), the applications of artificial intelligence, and rising diesel costs. The festival continues on October 26 with visits from an international delegation of buyers and specialized journalists to local production companies.
