Corigliano-Rossano to host Mare in Movimento maritime event

The “Mare in Movimento” event is scheduled to take place in Corigliano-Rossano from September 23 to 27. Promoted by the Federazione Italiana Motonautica and supported by the Ministry for Sport, the initiative aims to combine competitive sports with educational training and the promotion of marine resources.

Senator Ernesto Rapani presented the project at the Senate of the Republic, emphasizing that the goal is to encourage tourism destagionalization. By leveraging the local climate and sea, the initiative seeks to extend the tourism season beyond the traditional short window.

The program includes a preparatory phase for students focused on maritime safety, sustainability, and Blue Economy professions. This educational component is designed to engage young people with the marine environment and highlight related career opportunities while supporting the local economy.
