Corinium Museum to implement consistent daily opening hours

The Corinium Museum in Cirencester will implement new opening hours starting October 1. The museum will transition to a consistent daily schedule, operating from 10am to 4pm every day of the week throughout the year.

Previously, hours varied by season, with different timings for summer and winter, particularly on Sundays. Under the new policy, the museum's gallery exhibition space and shop will also be open daily from 10am to 4pm. Both the gallery and shop are free to enter.

Director Emma Stuart stated that the change aims to provide greater clarity for visitors and allow more people to experience the museum's collections, which include significant Romano-British antiquities and the history of the Cotswolds from prehistory to the modern day.
