Corinth Cathedral hosts ordination of new deacon Konstantinos Ramantanakis
On Saturday, September 12, 2026, a double hierarchical Divine Liturgy was held at the Saint Paul Cathedral in Corinth, featuring the ordination of Konstantinos Ramantanakis to the diaconate.
The ceremony was led by Metropolitan Paul of Corinth and Bishop Agapios of Kechries, joined by various priests and deacons from the Holy Metropolis of Corinth and other regions, including the Protosyncellus of the Holy Metropolis of Peristeri, Archimandrite Angelos Anthopoulos. The liturgical service was accompanied by the Enichima Psaltic Choir.
Konstantinos Ramantanakis is noted as one of the first graduates of the Clergy Candidate Apprenticeship Schools (S.M.Y.K.), having completed his studies with distinction. During the service, Metropolitan Paul spoke of the new deacon's spiritual gifts and virtues, encouraging him to serve the Church with faith, humility, and obedience.
