Corinthians aims to sell midfielder André for €22 million (R$130 million)
Corinthians, facing three transfer bans and financial strain, is preparing to sell 20‑year‑old midfielder André. European clubs have valued the player at €22 million (about R$130 million), with €18 million guaranteed and €4 million in performance bonuses. Juventus of Italy and Crystal Palace of England are among the clubs monitoring the situation.
André has become a regular starter under coach Fernando Diniz, playing 45 matches with seven goals and two assists since joining in August 2025. He helped the team win the 2025 Copa do Brasil and the 2026 Supercopa Rei. The club hopes the sale will alleviate its financial difficulties and also mentions an upcoming Copa do Brasil match where Corinthians must win by two goals against Internacional to advance.
