Corinthians confirms lateral meniscus injury for midfielder Raniele

Corinthians has confirmed that midfielder Raniele suffered a lateral meniscus injury in his right knee. The injury occurred following a knee sprain during the match against Palmeiras on Sunday, October 11.

The club stated that Raniele underwent examinations on Tuesday, which identified the meniscus damage. He is scheduled to consult with knee specialist Dr. Moisés Cohen to determine the appropriate treatment and recovery timeline. As of now, no official return date has been established.

This medical setback comes at a challenging time for the club as newly appointed coach Clarence Seedorf begins his tenure. Raniele joins other injured players on the roster, including Kayke and Zakaria Labyad, complicating the squad's availability for upcoming fixtures.
