Corinthians' Fazendinha stadium approved for youth and women's matches

The Federação Paulista de Futebol (FPF) has approved the pitch at Estádio Alfredo Schürig, known as Fazendinha, for use by Corinthians' youth and women's football teams. Following a recent renovation, the stadium underwent inspection to ensure it was fit for competitive play.

Under the new approval, the Corinthians U-17 team is scheduled to debut at the stadium against Fluminense on Wednesday, the 19th. The women's professional team will also return to the venue, with a match against Internacional scheduled for Saturday, the 22nd.

Despite the official approval, the pitch still shows uneven coloration, particularly near the substitute benches. While the club previously suspended matches to perform adjustments and ensure athlete safety, the current plan prioritizes the women's professional team, with other youth categories playing at alternative locations.
