Corinthians negotiates sale of André to Nottingham Forest
Corinthians is in negotiations to sell 20-year-old midfielder André to the English Premier League club Nottingham Forest. The reported offer is 13.6 million pounds, approximately R$ 95.5 million.
The club's board has agreed to open negotiations to help meet a player sales target of R$ 151 million set in the 2026 budget. Nottingham Forest is looking to strengthen its midfield following the departure of Elliot Anderson to Manchester City. The Premier League transfer window is scheduled to close on September 1.
André has become a key player for Corinthians, recording seven goals and two assists in 46 matches, and has won both the Copa do Brasil and the Supercopa do Brasil. Previous interest in the player included AC Milan, though those negotiations did not materialize.
