Corinthians official proposes task force to prevent relegation

Life counselor André Negão has sent an open letter to Corinthians President Osmar Stabile proposing the creation of a strategic task force to help the club avoid relegation to Serie B. The proposal follows a period of sporting crisis, including a ten-match winless streak and a recent 3-2 defeat against Vasco da Gama, which left the team in 17th place in the Campeonato Brasileiro.

Negão argues that the club must prioritize institutional unity and experience over political disputes. He suggested nine former leaders and directors to join the group, including Andrés Sanchez, Mário Gobbi, Roberto de Andrade, Duilio Monteiro Alves, Ney Nujud, Henrique Alves, Flávio Adauto, Paulo Garcia, and Roque Citadin.

The initiative aims to leverage the accumulated knowledge of former administrators to assist the football department during the final stretch of the season.
