Corinthians receives SAFiel proposal to settle Arena debt

The group Invasão Fiel S.A. (SAFiel) has submitted a formal proposal to the Corinthians board regarding the management transformation of the club. The proposal involves a commitment to structure the financial means to settle the club’s debt for the Neo Química Arena with Caixa Econômica Federal, which is valued at approximately R$ 642 million.

While the group has accepted the conditions set by President Osmar Stabile to pursue the debt settlement, the proposal does not guarantee an immediate cash injection. Instead, SAFiel commits to using legal and market advisors to structure the financial format for the payoff, which could involve debt assumption or restructuring.

To move forward, SAFiel has requested an urgent meeting with club leadership to seek authorization for direct negotiations with Caixa Econômica Federal. The group is also seeking access to the club’s contractual, financial, and fiscal information, as well as the establishment of a formal timeline and legal frameworks for the transition.
