Coritiba coach Fernando Seabra dismissed amid Brasileirão instability

The 2026 Campeonato Brasileiro has reached a milestone of 20 coaches dismissed following the departure of Fernando Seabra from Coritiba. Seabra was let go after a seven-game winless streak, leaving Coritiba in 12th place with 39 points, just five points above the relegation zone.

By the 32nd round of the tournament, only six clubs have maintained the same manager since the start of the competition. These include Abel Ferreira at Palmeiras, Rogério Ceni at Bahia, Vagner Mancini at Red Bull Bragantino, Rafael Guanaes at Mirassol, Odair Hellmann at Athletico-PR, and Jair Ventura at Vitória.

Several clubs, including Vasco, Remo, São Paulo, Botafogo, Chapecoense, and Corinthians, have already cycled through three different managers during this edition.
