Cork man dies in single-vehicle collision on Lee Road

A man in his 50s has died following a single-vehicle collision involving a van on the Lee Road in Cork. The incident occurred between 10:00 PM on Monday, September 14, and 2:10 AM on Tuesday, September 15.

Emergency services and Gardaí attended the scene, where the driver was pronounced dead. The Lee Road was closed to allow Forensic Collision Investigators to examine the vehicle, road layout, and surrounding conditions. Local diversions have been implemented.
