Corleto Perticara to host 5th Rossetti-Montano Prize in 2026

The fifth edition of the Rossetti-Montano Prize has been announced, scheduled to take place in Corleto Perticara from August 21 to 23, 2026. The event holds special significance as it marks the centenary of the birth of Rocco Rossetti and honors the memory of Orlando Montano, both central figures to the prize's cultural identity.

The three-day program will focus on music, culture, research, training, and heritage valorization. It will feature participation from artists, musicians, scholars, and various cultural institutions. The festivities are set to begin on Friday, August 21, at the Teatro Comunale di Corleto Perticara with an inaugural concert by the Orchestra San Giovanni di Napoli, conducted by Maestro K. Goodman.

Recognitions to be awarded during the 2026 edition include prizes for musical heritage research and dissemination to Alessandra D’Eugenio and Antonella Pecoraro, an artistic career award to Checco Pallone, and a special recognition to Veronika Lemnishenko. The event will also include the presentation of scholarships from the Rossetti-Montano School of Music.
