Cormano community hospital construction nears building completion

Construction is progressing in Cormano for the new Community Hospital and Community House located in the Fornasè district. During a recent site inspection by Tommaso Russo, Director General of Asst Nord Milano, and Mayor Luigi Magistro, officials reviewed the project's status.

The Community Hospital is the most advanced component of the site, with building work expected to be completed by November. The Community House is currently scheduled for delivery in March 2027. Following construction, the facilities will undergo testing, certification, and the installation of furniture and medical technology before becoming operational.

The project incorporates environmental and energy-efficient features, including the installation of photovoltaic panels to manage consumption. Mayor Magistro noted that the project aims to strengthen local medicine and provide the municipality with territorial services comparable to other areas within the Asst Nord Milano jurisdiction.
