Corn mazes offer seasonal activities and agricultural education
Various corn maze attractions across the United States are offering seasonal activities aimed at family entertainment and agricultural education.
In Indiana, Exploration Acres near Lafayette features a 22-acre complex with four mazes and approximately 10 miles of paths. The site includes a reward system where visitors can find 28 checkpoints to redeem offers at local businesses. Additional activities include pumpkin picking, wagon rides, pedal carts, and various play areas for children.
In Vermont, the Amazing Corn Maze in Randolph Center is a collaborative effort between Silloway Maple and Savello Farm. The 5-acre labyrinth serves as an educational tool to reconnect the public with the realities of farming and the changing agricultural landscape. Organizers aim to use the attraction to spark interest in the livelihoods of dairy farmers and sugarmakers.
