Cornel Dinu discusses health struggles and legal disputes

Cornel Dinu, the 78-year-old former Dinamo Bucharest player and prominent football figure, has spoken candidly about his declining health and personal struggles. In a recent interview with Prima Sport, Dinu noted that at his age, it is difficult to remain healthy, particularly given the medical challenges he has faced, including cardiac issues and episodes of depression.

Dinu also addressed a bitter legal dispute with his former close associate, Cornel Țălnar. Following a court case regarding an apartment in Bucharest, Dinu claims that Țălnar won the property and subsequently sold it, while legal costs are now being deducted from Dinu’s pension. Dinu expressed deep disappointment over the breakdown of their long-standing relationship.

Despite these personal hardships, Dinu expressed optimism regarding the current progress of Dinamo Bucharest, praising the club's recent summer transfers and the improved performance of the squad.
