Cornelder de Moçambique honors partners at Port of Beira awards

Cornelder de Moçambique, the concessionaire for the Container and General Cargo Terminals at the Port of Beira, held its 2025 Annual Awards to recognize companies contributing to port operations and regional trade.

The awards highlighted partners that improved cargo handling volumes and strengthened the Beira Corridor as a vital link to international markets. East Stone received two awards: Container Freight Forwarder of the Year and Fastest-Growing Freight Forwarder of the Year. In the general cargo sector, Manica Freight Services was named Shipping Agent of the Year, Terramar Logística was named Cargo Agent of the Year, and J&J Transports was recognized as Transporter of the Year.

The ceremony also included categories for agricultural exporters and general cargo importers from Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Malawi, and Zambia, underscoring the port's strategic role in regional logistics.
