Cornelia Funke presents new books at Frankfurt Book Fair

German children's author Cornelia Funke has released new works, including a highly detailed, wordless picture book titled ‘Wo Feen Nester bauen und Kobolde aus Büchern schlüpfen’ (Where Fairies Build Nests and Goblins Slip Out of Books) published by Kunstanstifter Verlag. The book features ten large-format illustrations designed to immerse readers of all ages in magical, detailed worlds.

At the Frankfurt Book Fair, Funke also presented her new novel, ‘Emma glaubt nicht an Feen’ (Emma Does Not Believe in Fairies), published by Insel Verlag. Additionally, Funke announced that contracts for a new ‘Wilde Hühner’ series are expected soon, with production potentially beginning in 2028.
