Cornelia Hagele visits social and care services in Tyrol
Tyrolean State Councilor Cornelia Hagele, responsible for health, care, education, and science, conducted a summer tour across various regions in Tyrol to assess local social services and childcare facilities.
In the Vorderes Zillertal region, Hagele visited the Soziale Dienste Vorderes Zillertal (SDVZ). Discussions focused on the increasing demand for nursing care, the importance of apprenticeship programs in the care sector, and the need to expand assisted living and daycare services throughout Tyrol. Hagele also met with volunteers to acknowledge their community engagement.
In East Tyrol, Hagele visited the Schlaiten kindergarten and the Sprengelstube daycare center in Abfaltersbach. During these visits, she emphasized the importance of observing how services function in daily practice rather than relying solely on statistics. She engaged with educators and staff to understand the practical challenges of childcare and elderly support, noting that reliable local services are essential for supporting families.
