Cornell Student Austin Franco Remains Enrolled After Anti‑Jewish Remarks
Austin Franco, a rising junior at Cornell University, went viral in June 2023 after responding to a summer internship offer from Jewish founders Gabe and Aiden Einhorn with the statement, “not interested in working for a Jew.” The remark was amplified on social media and later discussed on Piers Morgan’s interview program, where Franco defended his comments and invoked Nick Fuentes’s “America First” ideology.
According to a report by the conservative watchdog Accuracy in Media, Cornell has not taken disciplinary action against Franco. The university’s advocacy team reportedly contacted him, but he remains enrolled and says there is “nothing going on on their back end.” Cornell officials have investigated the incident as a bias complaint, while the Einhorn brothers expressed shock and highlighted the broader concerns about antisemitism on campus.
