Corniche Al Mazraa roadworks to cause traffic diversions in Beirut

The Lebanese Internal Security Forces have announced a series of traffic measures in the Corniche Al Mazraa area (Saeb Salam Boulevard) due to scheduled road spraying and paving works. The project will be executed in several stages.

During the first stage, scheduled for October 26 and 27, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM, traffic will be diverted from the Mar Elias – Helou Barracks intersection to the Al-Rashideen Salam intersection. Access from Mama Street and Al-Zain Street will also be restricted.

The second stage, occurring on October 28 and 29, 2026, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, will affect the stretch from the Al-Rashideen Salam intersection to the Mar Elias – Helou Barracks intersection. This will involve closing the entrance to the tunnel leading to Raouche toward Saeb Salam Boulevard, with traffic being redirected through the Raouche tunnel exit.

Following cleaning preparations on October 30, paving will take place on October 31 and November 1, 2026, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, necessitating similar traffic diversions.
