MongoDB reports 30% revenue growth and raises full-year guidance

MongoDB Inc. reported strong second-quarter fiscal 2027 financial results, featuring a 30% year-over-year revenue increase to $771.8 million. The company achieved a net income of $40.9 million, a significant turnaround from a $47 million net loss during the same period last year. Adjusted earnings per share reached $1.90, exceeding Wall Street expectations.

Driven by the Atlas cloud platform and momentum in AI use cases, MongoDB raised its full-year revenue guidance to a range of $2.99 billion to $3.03 billion. However, the company's stock experienced a decline in after-hours trading, falling approximately 13%. Investors reacted to a third-quarter revenue outlook of $756 million to $761 million, which represents a sequential step down from the recently completed quarter.

Despite the immediate stock volatility, several analysts have maintained positive outlooks. Scotiabank raised its price target to $440, and Wells Fargo lifted its target to $475, citing the company's role in enterprise workloads and AI integration.
