Cornish Pirates defeat Camborne 50-28 in pre-season friendly

The Cornish Pirates secured a 50-28 victory against Camborne in a pre-season rugby friendly. Despite Camborne being a league lower, the ‘Cherry and Whites’ provided a competitive performance following their recent promotion to National One.

The Pirates established an early lead through a try by Arthur Relton, assisted by debutant Henry Palmer. While Camborne briefly leveled the score via Harry Larkins, the Pirates pulled ahead with tries from Jack Forsythe and Milo Hallam, ending the first half 19-7.

In the second half, the Pirates increased their scoring momentum. Arthur Relton scored his second try following a break by Angus Mawson, and subsequent converted tries from Dan Hiscocks and Mawson secured the win.
