Cornish Pirates defeat Plymouth Albion 35-21 in pre-season friendly

The Cornish Pirates secured a 35-21 pre-season victory against Plymouth Albion at Brickfields. Despite a difficult start where they trailed 14-0 and faced disciplinary challenges, including a yellow card for Harry Ascherl, the Pirates staged a significant comeback.

The turnaround began late in the first half when Harry Palmer scored following a kick from Angus Mawson, with Arwel Robson adding the conversion. Robson subsequently scored a try of his own to shift the momentum. The win allows the Pirates to claim regional bragging rights over their Devonian rivals.
