Cornish rugby clubs secure victories in regional league matches

Kingsbridge RFC secured a 52 to 26 victory against Redruth 2nd XV in the Counties One Western West division. Playing in favorable weather conditions, Kingsbridge established an early lead with three unanswered tries in the first 20 minutes. Despite a period of reduced discipline and a yellow card that allowed Redruth to narrow the gap to 21 to 7 by halftime, Kingsbridge maintained their momentum.

In the Counties Two Cornwall division, Penryn defeated Bude 39 to 26 at Bencoolen Meadow. The match featured high scoring from both sides, with Bude attempting to extend a fourth consecutive league win. A late try by Penryn replacement wing Charlie Parsons ultimately secured the win for the visitors, ending Bude's winning streak.
