Cornwall Council approves conversion of St Teath Methodist Church
Cornwall Council has approved the conversion of the former St Teath Methodist Church into a residential dwelling. The 19th-century building has been disused since September 2018 due to declining congregation numbers.
The Grade II listed structure, originally constructed in 1871 using rubble stone with granite dressings and a slate roof, is located within the St Teath conservation area. The conversion aims to revitalize the semi-derelict building, which still contains original features such as the organ, pulpit, and pews.
