Cornwall hotel opens in Rock near Camel Estuary

A newly restored hotel has opened in Rock, located on the north coast of Cornwall. The property, which opened in July 2025, features the Estuary Grill and various dining terraces overlooking the Porthilly oyster beds and the Camel Estuary.

The hotel's interior design incorporates bespoke furniture, marble, and velvet upholstery, alongside artwork by photographer Mick Rock and sculptures by British artists Dominic Welch and Lucy Unwin. The location offers proximity to Padstow, the Camel Trail, and several local beaches including Rock and Daymer Bay.
