Coro man with criminal history shot dead in Falcón

A 23-year-old man, identified as Javier Alexander Adrianza Guzmán and known by the alias ‘Bubi’, was shot in the head on Thursday afternoon in Coro, Falcón state. The attack occurred near the West Coro electrical substation in the Ciudadela sector while the victim was traveling on a black motorcycle.

Adrianza Guzmán had a significant criminal history. According to reports from the Cicpc, he was previously investigated for the March 2023 murder of Cristian Rigoberto Petit Morillo and was allegedly linked to the criminal organization known as ‘Los Lobos’. He had been detained by authorities in January 2026 after being sought by the Second Control Court for qualified homicide.

Security forces arrived at the scene to begin investigations and collect evidence. The motive for the shooting and the identity of the perpetrators remain unknown.
